Diet: NPO

V/S: routine

( Admission  :< 3 month , 3-6 month with severe paroxysms , complications)

1. CBC diff

2. electrolyte

3. BUN & cratinine

4. CXR

5. Pulse oximetry

6. O2 (if O2 Sat <90%)

7. ABG

8. ventoline : 2.5 mg with Nebulizer q 20 min ( up to 3 doses )  ( controversial )

9. ( if severe ): Hydrocortisone 5 mg / kg IV stat , then 2 mg / kg / dose  IV  QID  ( controversial )

10. Azithromycin : 10mg/kg/d 5 days

( or Erythromycin 10 mg / kg / dose QID  14 days )

11. isolation

OPD:

1. Azithromycin ( SYR 100/5 & 200/5 ): 10mg / kg / dose /  5 days

( or Erythromycin 10mg / kg / dose QID  14 days )

2. SYR ketotifen : 2.5-5 cc BID ( or Cetirizine 2.5-5 cc QD )

3. Nasal drop Nacl : 2 drops q 4-6 h

4. ( if fever ) : Acetaminophen : 15 mg/kg/dose q 4-6 h
